Samsung has started official roll-out of Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 update and here is how you can download it immediately for your phone. In a surprising turn of events, Samsung has went on to update its near two year old device with latest One UI 2.1 firmware. The brand did in fact release Android 10 for Note 9 couple of months back as it was still within its supported update cycle but with One UI 2.0. New update is based on latest Android 10, just as last official release, but now it carries changes to the UI and adds in new functionality that wasn’t initially present. New modes coming to Galaxy Note 9 include: Single Take, improved Night Mode and Pro Video mode.

AR Zone

Samsung is still continuing its efforts on AR. With Note 9 One UI 2.1 build, there is a new AR Zone app that consolidates everything related to AR — AR Doodle, AR Emoji — into one single place. This adds to overall convenience and reduces confusion when accessing Augmented Reality on Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

June 2020 Security Patch

Another key aspect to Galaxy Note 9 One UI 2.1 build is the fact that it arrives with this month’s — June 2020 — security patch.
