Oneplus 3 Gets OxygenOS 3.2.0 Update, Improves RAM Management And More


OnePlus 3 was launched about a couple of weeks back. The community loved it more than OnePlus 2 and of course, it offered more for less price than most of the flagship phones in the market.

The device gets it’s first OTA update which brings some improvements and some new features to the device. Although the phone got 6 GB of RAM which is enough for all kind of tasks on a phone, but the company has further improved the RAM management in this new update. Which means that the phone will now run even lighter and faster. The update also improved the GPS performance. Audio playback quality is also improved. There are some more improvements and enhancements which you can see in the full, official changelog below. The update bumps the phone to OxygenOS 3.2.0.

OnePlus 3 comes with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080. The screen technology is OpticAMOLED capacitive touchscreen. Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection is also there. The camera is 16 MP this time which is quite good as we’ve seen from the samples.

Ir has the latest chipset from Qualcomm, the Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 with Dual-core 2.15 GHz Kryo & dual-core 1.6 GHz Kryo CPU and Adreno 530 GPU. The internal storage is 64 GB, there is no 16 GB version this time and that is actually good because 16 GB is not enough in today’s world. The RAM is whopping 6 GB which will make sure that everything works smooth and games perform without lag.

The camera is 16 MP with f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization, Electronic Image Stabilization and an LED flash. The camera can record 4K videos and 720pslo-moo videos at 120 fps. The front camera is 8 MP with f/2.0, 1/3.2″ sensor size, 1.4 µm pixel size, and it can record 1080p videos.
