All smartphones manufacturers picking up the pace to release the Marshmallow update for its devices. As we know that Android N has been announced already and most of the devices are not yet upgraded to even Android Marshmallow. So it’s the right time for all manufacturers to release the Android Marshmallow for their devices as soon as possible.
The Marshmallow is already available for the original Samsung Galaxy Note 4 but the T-Mobile version was still stuck on Lollipop because it was waiting approval from the carrier for the update. The carrier has finally approved the update and the Marshmallow is now rolling out for the T-Mobile version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 as well. We know this is late, very late, and the carrier should care about it in the future, but it is always better late than never.
The update is available OTA and can be downloaded and installed now.
The update brings many new features and performance improvements. Traditional Marshmallow goodies will also be included in the update. Doze is one of those goodies, which increases the battery life by double if the device is locked and is stationary. improved app permissions are also included which let you choose individual permissions for individual apps so that you can have more control of your apps.
