Oppo is back with a brand new smartphone, the Oppo A37, which falls in the mid-range category. The phone costs $199 only and offers decent specifications in this price range.
Oppo A37 comes with a 5-inch display, which is loved by many users as standard and easy to use size. The display resolution is 1280x720p which is offered by most mid-range smartphones nowadays. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 4 and it has 2.5D curved edges.
The chipset inside the phone is Snapdragon 410, which can handle heavy games easily. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and internal storage is 16 GB which is further expandable by a Micro SD card of up to 128 GB. So you can make as many 1080p videos as you want.
The back camera is 8 MP with f/2.2 lens which can record 1080p videos and there is a 5 MP front camera with f/2.4 lens for taking high-quality selfies. The back camera offers an Ultra HD mode which allows you to take 24 MP photos.
There is a triple card slot which allows you to insert 2 sim cards and a Micro SD card at the same time. This will save you a little hassle.
The phone comes with Android 5.1 Lollipop with Color OS 3.0. We don’t think that OPPO will upgrade this device to Marshmallow. So before purchasing the phone, keep in mind that you may stuck with the Android Lollipop forever.
