All smartphones manufacturers picking up the pace to release the Marshmallow update for its devices. As we know that Android N has been announced already and most of the devices are not yet upgraded to even Android Marshmallow. So it’s the right time for all manufacturers to release the Android Marshmallow for their devices as soon as possible.
Another mid-range device from HTC has also joined the Marshmallow family. HTC Desire 820 Marshmallow update has hit the device today. The update will bump the Android version to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and Sense UI will be upgraded to version 7. The update is available OTA across different regions around the world. If you haven’t get the update yet, you might have to wait for few days or even weeks to get the update, as the update rolls out gradually.
The update brings many new features and performance improvements. Traditional Marshmallow goodies will also be included in the update. Doze is one of those goodies, which increases the battery life by double if the device is locked and is stationary. improved app permissions are also included which let you choose individual permissions for individual apps so that you can have more control of your apps.
