All smartphones manufacturers picking up the pace to release the Marshmallow update for its devices. As we know that Android N has been announced already and most of the devices are not yet upgraded to even Android Marshmallow. So it’s the right time for all manufacturers to release the Android Marshmallow for their devices as soon as possible.
Telus, the Canadian Carrier has announced the release date of Android Marshmallow for its Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy S5. According to the carrier, the update for the Galaxy Note 5 will hit the devices on 2nd of May and it will hit the Note 4 devices on 16th of the same month.
The Marshmallow update for Galaxy Tab S2 will also come on May 2. Along with the latest Android Marshmallow, the update will also include monthly security patches. The new update will bring many new features to all of these devices. For example, Doze will be included, which is a traditional Marshmallow feature. Doze doubles the battery timing of your Android smartphone when it is stationary and its screen is off. Improved app permissions will also be included in the update.
