Google releases the Android security patches every month now to keep your Android device secure from different threats. Google started to do this about 6 months ago to make Android devices more secure and stable. Verizon Samsung Galaxy S6 has started to get the April security patch already.
Not even Nexus devices have started to get the security patch yet. So it is quite an achievement for Samsung to release the security patch so early. Other devices will start to get the update soon.
Samsung Galaxy S6 is the last year’s flagship from Samsung. It comes with 5.1-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. RAM is 3 GB and internal storage is either 32,64 or 128 GB. The device has already upgraded to Android Marshmallow. It comes with Exynos 7420 Octa chipset with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 CPU and Mali-T760MP8 GPU.
The camera is 16 MP autofocus with Optical Image Stabilization which can record 4K videos and A 5 MP front camera for selfies and it can record 2K videos.
The April security patch for the Verizon Galaxy S6 can be downloaded and installed right now from the software updates menu in your S6.
