Verizon has finally started to roll out the Android Marshmallow update for Motorola Droid Turbo 2. Employee edition of the phone got the update a couple of months back in December but the public version of the phone took 2 more months to get the update.
Motorola Droid Turbo 2 Marshmallow update is available OTA and you should be notified of the update automatically. But if you haven’t received the update yet, you can go to the settings and check for the update soon. Make sure you are on Wi-Fi before downloading the update to avoid any extra data charges.
The new update introduces a slightly modified “Do not disturb” mode. Moto actions now include Direct share and Attentive Display. Volume controls are also expanded. Other Marshmallow features like Doze and App permissions are also included. The new update will jump the phone to build 24.14.9.
