Android 6.0 Marshmallow is Now Available For Verizon LG G3


LG G3 at Verizon is now getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The update is available OTA and is now available for many users having Verizon LG G3. The software version is VS98546A now.

LG G3 is the company’s 2014 flagship model. It comes with a 5.5-inch display with a stunning 1440 x 2560 resolution. The display comes with corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection which means that the phone does not get scratches on the screen. It came with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. It was then updated to Lollipop and now it is being updated to Marshmallow as well.

It has Snapdragon 801 chipset with Quad-core 2.5 GHz Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. And it comes in 2 versions, a 16 GB variant with 2 GB RAM and a 32 GB variant with 3 GB RAM. Both variants have Micro SD card slot to expand the memory.

Android Marshmallow will bring performance improvements and bug fixes to the device, January security patch is also included. Of course, some new features are introduced along with Doze.
