Draw in 3D on mobile using Ink Space App

Zach Lieberman, android developer create an experimental app using openframeworks which lets you draw in 3d using the accelerometer on your device. Unlike most other drawing apps available on play store which lets you draw using your finger in a paper or 2D, Ink Space allows you to actually draw in 3D dimensions. Which means you can create anything according to your imagination.

You can draw anything and record some the drawing on your phone. While drawing you can rotate the drawing using the accelerometer on your device. By doing this you can continue drawing from any side. You can also use pulses which once you draw a line on the canvas, the line will re-draw itself again. You can record short animated gifs using this.

You can download Ink Space from Google Play Store:

  • Open google play store and search for Ink Space
  • Download and Install
  • You are ready to go.

Alternatively you can download the directly to your phone from here.

You can erase the drawing by double tapping on the canvas. There are not much settings which you can tweak with. This is really simple and amazing little experiment done on android. Do you have any other such handy app share your thoughts via comments below?
