Adobe Photoshop Lightroom is Now Available For Free On Android

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom for mobile lets you craft professional quality images on your Smartphone. It is available for both Android and iOS. Until now, Adobe Creative Cloud subscription was required to use Adobe Lightroom, but the app is now free to download and use on Android.

This step was taken in October for iOS, users of Lightroom enjoyed and appreciated the decision to make it free of cost. Now after a month, the app is free on Android as well. The latest version of the app is 1.4 and it does not require Adobe Creative Cloud subscription to work. However, having the subscription provides you additional benefits. For example, your work will be synced with you desktop Lightroom and you can use Lightroom web.

Adobe Creative Cloud is also available on 1-month free trial. So you can get the trial and enjoy the full features of Lightroom mobile. Later you can continue to use the Creative Cloud by paying for it.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom also supports the raw DNG images as the modern Android phones can produce DNG images. As Android is one of the 2 major mobile platforms and it is growing day by day, Adobe, in its official post, promised that they are working hard on the Android version of Adobe Lightroom and they will bring major changes in it in near future.
