Huawei Honor 5X is Launched in China With 5.5 Inch 1080p Display

Huawei launched the Honor 5X, the successor of Huawei Honor 4X. Huawei Honor 5X is a mid-range phone and is currently available in China only.

It comes with a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1080. The chipset is a Snapdragon 616 with a 64-bit quad-core 1.7 GHz Cortex A53 and quad-core 1.2 GHz A53 processor. GPU is Adreno 405. It comes with 2 RAM choices. A variant comes with 2 GB RAM and the other variant comes with 3 GB of RAM for CNY 400 more. Internal storage is 16 GB which is expandable by a Micro SD card.


The camera is 13 MP with dual LED flash and a 5 MP front camera is also there for selfies. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back which will allow you to unlock your device in just 0.4 seconds. Huawei’s latest fingerprint sensor technology is the secret behind it.

The phone packs a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. This will allow you to charge your battery by up to 50 % in just 30 minutes. The phone comes in dual sim version as well. 4G will work in both slots.

The phone is currently available in China. It will cost you CNY 999 (around $160) for 2 GB RAM version and CNY 1,399 (around $220) for 3 GB RAM version.
