Android 6.0 Marshmallow is Rolling Out On October 5

As we know that the new Nexus devices are coming on September 29 and Google is going to launch 2 Nexus devices this year, One is manufactured by LG and the other is manufactured by Huawei. The new devices will, of course, run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. But it was still unknown that when will the older Nexus devices get the Marshmallow update?

Android Marshmallow

According to a Canadian carrier Telus, Android Marshmallow is coming to Nexus 5 and Nexus 6 on October 5. Nexus 5 and 6 will be first devices to get the update. The release date totally makes sense as Google updates its older devices shortly after the launch of new Nexus devices. Other devices including Nexus 4 will get the update later and it is still unclear that whether the Nexus 5 will get the update or not.

The new Nexus devices are expected to be named as Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P. Please note that these dates are not officially confirmed, but we hope that Marshmallow will come on October 5.
