Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Possibly Won’t have a Micro SD Card Slot

We are hearing a number of rumors about upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5. First we heard that it will be coming with 4GB RAM, then we heard about ahead of schedule launch of the Galaxy Note 5.

Now the popular leakster, @evleaks reports that the Note 5 will be coming without a Micro SD card slot. Ev leaks has an excellent reputation when it comes to leaking some information before time. It reports that the Note 5 will be coming with Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 SoC and of course 4GB of RAM. There will be an octa core processor, 4 of them will be running at a frequency of 1.5GHz and other 4 will be running at 2.1 GHz. Screen size is reported to be 5.66 inches with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. There will be a 16 MP, much improved back camera and a 5 MP front camera for awesome selfies and video calling.

The phone will be running on Android 5.1.1 out of the box and there will be no Micro SD card slot. Internal memory is reported to be 32 GB but that seems less if there is no Micro SD expansion. So there are two possibilities, either the phone will have more storage options like Galaxy S6 or it will be coming with a Micro SD slot. We have to wait for the official confirmation to know that.

Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 5, along with Galaxy S6 edge+ at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 on August 13, 2015.
