Moto G (2015) Specifications Revealed by a Retailer’s Listing, 2GB RAM Spotted

A Swiss retailer Digitec has listed the Moto G 3rd. edition on its website. It is obvious now that Motorolla will be announcing the new Moto G in 28th July event. They’ve also posted a photo of the new Moto G, which is the most prominent image of the phone to date.

Specifications wise, the new Moto G has very decent specifications and it is a great upgrade from previous generation Moto. It seems like the phone has the same dimensions as the previous generation Moto G. Retailer claims that it will come with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen. Screen resolution will be 1080p. Internal memory is 8GB which is expandable by a MicroSD card.


The phone will have 2GB RAM, Adreno 405 GPU and Quad core 1.7 GHz CPU. The chip would me, most probably, Qualcomm Snapdragon 610. The retailer suggests that the battery is 2070mAh. This is exactly the same capacity battery as of last year’s Moto G. Moto G will cost you around $245 which is slightly higher when we look at the specifications.

Moto G series is the Motorola’s affordable smartphone series. It is not only affordable, but the series gets the quick updates as Nexus devices. They come with the decent specifications, excellent performance, all day battery life and quick updates in an affordable price tag.
