Earlier today, ASUS made a couple of announcements at the Computex, Taipei in their Zensation event 2015. We already looked at the ZenFone Selfie and ZenWatch 2, another Android related announced was the release of ZenPad S. As the new strategy of ASUS of covering the tablet loving geeks out there from end to end, they have announced this new tablet series in all three screen sizes: 7-inch, 8-inch and 10-inch screens.
Among the three tablets, ASUS only announced and showed off the ZenPad S 8.0. We have some details about the tablet as announced, and we’ll update as soon as ASUS releases more information about the other two screen size variants.
Following the new trend of plating the parameters of the android device with metal coating, ZenPad also does not compromise of giving a sleek, and premium finish in a 6.6mm body weighing not even 300 grams. Impressive, yes? well, the hardware specification is even better, the lime light was thou caught by the fine 2,048 x 1,536 (324-ppi) 8 inch IPS display. Another epic spec was the 4GB of RAM with the Intel’s 64-bit Atom Z3580 chip, don’t you worry about the speed, ASUS’ got it. The show was climaxed by revealing that the oh so well ASUS ZenPad also comes with the stereo speakers that too enhanced by DTS audio for the perfect premium experience.
Other than that, the ZenPad S consists of 8 and 5 megapixels of camera, back and front respectively and comes with both 16GB and a 32GB of storage space, the Zen stylus is an optional accessory for you if you’re into tab writing thou.
