Facebook Home for Android – New Launcher, Facebook Integration

Facebook Home, is the new Android launcher which is built around people rather than accessing your apps more easily. You get to be connected with your friends in a more seamless way than using the official Facebook Android app or the Facebook Messenger. Facebook Home for Android has been just announced at a live event my Mark Zuckerberg.

The first phone, apparently also called the Facebook Phone to have the new Facebook Home, is the HTC First that will be available to AT&T on April 12th, and the phone is already available for pre-order for just $99. For more information on the Facebook Phone (HTC First) and the Facebook Home release dates, continue reading below. We have just posted a leaked beta of Facebook Home that you can install on any Android phone. See here: How to Install Facebook Home on Any Android Phone.

Facebook Home Release Date

Facebook Home will be available on April 12th from Google Play for you to download the app and install it on your phone. This will be just like any other launcher, but with tight Facebook integration.

Facebook Home Supported Devices

Facebook Home will be supporting only HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, and the future devices, the HTC One and the Samsung Galaxy S4. Other devices will soon be getting the support for Facebook Home — or we can just grab the latest Facebook Home APK and try it out on our phones.

We personally believe, Facebook should have atleast supported the Google Nexus series. Facebook Home is not yet available for tablets, but that will be supported in the coming few months.
