We will be unboxing the new Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) in this article. Samsung has taken the A series very seriously, releasing the third iteration for 2017. This time around, the materials have been refined, design has been rethought and new features have been added. The phone we will be focusing on is the A3 (2017), the smallest of the bunch. With its manageable dimensions and no compromise approach, this phone is set for success. A key new feature this year is the introduction of IP68 dust and water resistance. Let’s unbox the new Galaxy A3 (2017) below.
Samsung is experimenting with new color schemes as evident by the color variant we will be unboxing. The color of our Galaxy A3 (2017) is detailed as Blue Sky and it surely resembles it quite well. You have to keep in mind that the phone package we will unbox is meant for the Pakistani market. The experience is expected to change slightly in other regions.
Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy A3 2017:
The box is quite minimal and follows the white coloring as standard on almost all Galaxy smartphones except the Note and S flagships. Right after you lift off the top half of the box, the phone reveals itself with a sticker on top explaining key features. Picking up the phone, you would immediately get to know how Samsung has made all the right decisions with the materials on this phone. The back is glass as is the front and both are bridged by an outward curving metal ring.
Coming from the last Galaxy A3, this year, the phone is more rounded off. The glass flows off the edge to meet with the metal ring perfectly. There is no sort of annoying edge of the metal protruding the glass. This makes for a very pleasant user experience.
Putting the phone aside, the box continues with a User Guide straight after. This literature also includes the SIM removal tool. Following it, are the accessories. To start off, as the Galaxy A3 (2017) features USB-C, the box comes with an adequately long USB Type-C cable. Not only that, Samsung has gone further to include a simple USB-C to microUSB dongle. This would make it easier upon users to manage the transition. Furthermore, it comes with a decent pair of headphones. Unfortunately, the Galaxy A3 (2017) misses out on Fast Charge technology so Samsung has included a stock charger rather than an Adaptive charger.
