How to Remap Bixby Button on Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e


Here is a clever guide that lets you remap Bixby button to apps other than Bixby Assistant. If you own a Galaxy S10 phone, this guide is perfect to replace the default action of the Bixby button. Introduced first on Galaxy S8, there is a dedicated extra button found right beneath the volume rocker on the left side of Galaxy S10 devices. Intended to activate Bixby on single-press, it is quite frustrating for users who haven’t really adopted Bixby or prefer to use Google assistant. Well, gladly, here is how to remap Bixby button!

This guide works on all Galaxy S10 devices including Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e. Further, the best part is, we would not require you to root your device or even modify it. Using a third-party app, there is an easy route to remapping Bixby button. Unfortunately, you can’t simply disable it which might be a bummer for most.

For this procedure, all you require is to have Samsung’s firmware running on your phone and any variant of Galaxy S10. This process might or might not work with other Samsung devices having a Bixby button.

Step 1 – To begin, first download the Bixby Button Assistant Remapper APK.

Download: BixbyRemapper.apk

Step 2 – Tap on Bixby Voice Settings.

Step 3 – From here, select Bixby key.

Step 4 – Now, select Double press to open Bixby.

Step 5 – Tap on Use single press.

Step 6 – Switch it on and tap the gear icon to choose an app.

Step 7 – From here, find Bixby Button Assistant Remapper and select it.

Step 8 – To set default, once press the Bixby button and select the assistant app you prefer and then also tap on always!
