HMD Global’s latest Nokia 7.2 has arrived at our headquarters! Before we publish our complete review and thoughts of the phone after thorough testing, enjoy this complete Nokia 7.2 unboxing experience! Continuing with Google’s Android One program, this iteration of Nokia’s mid-range 7 series brings loads of promising new features. Starting with the exterior, there is a new bold design along that integrates a Matte glass finish for the rear. Read ahead to see what comes within Nokia 7.2’s box and also our initial impressions of the phone.
The Nokia name, under the reign of HMD Global, has really bounced back! One key aspect to the brand’s success is the fact that it has chosen to work closely with Google on all of its phones. Android One, a program introduced for manufacturers, allows brands to develop hardware while letting Google handle the software side. This results in a complete, stock Android experience — just as on a Pixel phone — but at various, different price points. We will be testing Nokia 7.2 thoroughly in the days ahead and would soon publish our full review.
Nokia 7.2 Unboxing Experience
Nokia has always carried this distinct shape for all its phone’s boxes where the width of the box is greater than the depth. For Nokia 7.2, this tradition carries on. Top side of the device’s box carries a complete front render of the 7.2 along with the signature hand-shake illustration of Nokia. As for the back of the box, there are crucial details listed such as RAM & storage capacities and other hardware information.
Starting to unbox, the top half of the box slides off to reveal the phone placed on one side and a small rectangular box on the other. There is a protective plastic enclosing the phone and it has small tab on the bottom that makes it easy to lift it up. Removing the plastic, we get to the unit itself. Our Nokia 7.2 came in the Charcoal color option. Holding it in the hand for the first time, it speaks quality! The glass back paired with the plastic surround goes together quite well. While some might not like the large circular camera bump at the back, we think it works!

Inspecting other contents within the box, there is a SIM ejection tool provided right beneath where the phone lays. Further, there are standard accessories provided as well. A pair of regular headphones with built-in mic, a USB Type-C to type-A cable along with a wall-adapter that provides a maximum output of 10W.
Missing however is a screen-protector and a clear silicone / plastic case which has become a standard for many budget to mid-range phones over the past few years.
