April Security Update Rolls Out to Samsung Galaxy S10 – Brings Night Mode for Camera

Samsung Galaxy S10 series, the latest flagship from Samsung is receiving updates quite frequently, most of which have been to improve the overall experience. Most recent build that is being pushed carries April security update for Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, and Galaxy S10+. Initially, the update roll-out has started from Switzerland — soon would arrive for all other regions. This specific update addresses 5 critical along with multiple of high-risk issues within the Android OS, and 15 of them are related to the Samsung’s firmware.

Also, this build is bringing Night Mode feature for the camera of Samsung Galaxy S10 / S10e / S10+. Initially, Night mode was equipped on all phones but the phone automatically decided when to utilize it. However, with this update, users would be able to manually engage it. Night mode feature allows Galaxy S10 to take better pictures in the dark. As pictures captured within a dark environment can be noisy, blurry and soft, using night mode will eliminate these problems.

Samsung Galaxy S10 / Galaxy S10e / Galaxy S10+ April Update Features

Samsung started rolling out the April security update for complete Samsung Galaxy S10 series which includes Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10+. Within this update, there is a new Night Mode option available in the camera app. Further, Samsung is also working to upgrade the night mode feature by improving low-light capabilities so images in the dark can look clean and high definition.

Users within Switzerland are welcome to download and install the update, this can manually happen by navigating to Settings -> System -> Advanced -> System updates. These updates will be available soon for users around the world too. The latest update might not be the right choice for now as it carries high-risk issues related to the Android OS & Samsung’s firmware.
