Samsung has come out strong after the Note 7 mishap with the new Galaxy A series 2017. We will be taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) and its unboxing experience in this article. Up front, the phone is renewed with a more refined design compared with yesteryear. Not only does the phone now ship in more color schemes, it has an IP68 Dust and Water resistance. This is just one of the many features this phone resembles with expensive flagships from Samsung. The Galaxy A7 (2017) also ships with a USB-C port. If you ignore the Note 7, this is Samsung’s first USB Type-C phone. The phone is priced mid-tier. It fits the bracket between premium and budget. Similarly, the phone is being shipped with full accessories in the box. Our Galaxy A7 is a Pakistan variant device so the accessories might slightly change from other regions. Nonetheless, lets continue with the unboxing.
Unboxing the Samsung Galaxy A7 2017:
Straight away, the box clearly carries a flagship aesthetic with a traditional opening sequence. You slide up the top half of the box in order to reveal the phone itself. Taking the phone out, you will immediately appreciate the choices Samsung made with this year’s Galaxy A7 (2017). Glass on the back and front accompanied by a metal border all over.
This time around, the phone has a more curved front print compared over last year. Not only is the metal ring curved outward for better grip but the back is similarly curved to fit your palm better. Our Black Sky Galaxy A7 (2017) came with minimal logos and a color matched metal ring. This proved to be our personal favorite color combination and we would love to see more phones in this scheme.
As you put the phone aside and dig deeper into the box, you would find some literature along with a bundled SIM and SD-Card tray removal tool. Further along, you would get to the accessories. Samsung was kind enough to include a USB Type-C to microUSB connector so users can easily transition over. Rest, you get some decent headphones, a long USB to USB Type-C cable and an Adaptive Fast Charger.
