Android, like every other mobile OS, has a call log where all your incoming, outgoing or missed calls are logged and you can later check when  and where did you call or whom did you talked to. In some circumstances, you might want to remove the caller name  or number from the call log list.

How to Remove Name / Number from Call Log in Android Phones

Follow these quick steps to remove a name or number from the call log of your Android phone:

Step 1 – Open the Phone app.

Step 2 – Look for the name/number you want to delete and tap on it.

Step 3 – Now tap, on the three dots on the top right corner. Or press the Menu key.

Step 4 – Select “Remove from call log” and tap on it. No warning will be given and the number will be removed.

That’s it! The name/number has now been removed from Android phone’s call log.
