How to Root Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

Just like the HTC Explorer, Samsung Galaxy Y is also a low-end Android phone that brings Gingerbread phones at a very affordable price. We will be covering how to install ICS on Galaxy Y soon, but before that you need a tutorial on how to root your Samsung Galaxy Y.

A tiny notice that I’m sure you must be knowing as well. Rooting your Android phone will void your warranty, but then you would be able to enjoy your favourite root apps i.e Titanium Backup.

  • Then scroll to the bottom and tap “About phone”.

If it is not Android 2.3.5 / 2.3.6, then please don’t proceed with the tutorial or you might brick your phone or  lose your existing phone data.
