How to Install TWRP Recovery on Galaxy Note 20 / Note 20 Ultra

Make sure you have gone through our unlock bootloader guide before implementing this tutorial.

Step 1 – Extract Odin tool to any location on your computer. Here is our download hub for Odin: Download Odin Tool (All Versions)

Step 2 – Download file and copy it over to the your phone.

Step 3 – Power off your phone and reboot into download mode. To do so, connect a USB type-C cable while holding volume up and volume down while the phone is powered off.

Step 3 – In Odin’s AP field, select the TWRP TAR file and click on flash.

Step 4 – While Odin is flashing, press volume up and power button.

Step 5 – TWRP should boot and from here, do a factory reset and then flash the ZIP file you downloaded in Step 2.

That’s it, your Galaxy Note20 / Note20 Ultra should have TWRP installed. Next, you can use it to flash Magisk for root!
