EMUI 10 Android 10 Update Schedule (Huawei / Honor)

Here is an official EMUI 10 update schedule for Huawei and Honor devices. These phones will soon get Android 10 update with all the new features like Dark Mode, better privacy features etc.

The latest iteration of Android, called Android 10, has been officially unveiled by Google and for Huawei / Honor devices, here is when EMUI 10 — Huawei’s bespoke skin based on Android 10 — will be released. Unlike smaller iterations such as EMUI 9.1, this upgrade would bring about major changes. Starting with a revamped UI, EMUI 10 update will feel and perform a lot better than EMUI 9. As for its official release date, Huawei has debut the new OS through its new Mate 30 series phones. Further, it has also declared a complete timeline, listed ahead, as to when EMUI 10 will arrive for other Huawei / Honor devices.

EMUI 10 brings a fresh new coat of paint to the overall Huawei design with softer colours and a much better minimalist look. Other than the look and feel, the next iteration of EMUI also brings in popular Android 10 features i.e. dark mode. We also expect improvements to overall performance of the whole skin along with improved security and reliability. EMUI 10: New Features, Changes

Huawei has been following a very logical naming scheme with its EMUI skin. Directly corresponding to Android version number, EMUI 10 will be based off of Android 10. On top of all the new features that Google has integrated into the core source code of Android, Huawei will be adding features of its own. One of the major changes to arrive with EMUI 10 will be its revamped UI. New EMUI will be featuring Morandi Pallete for its colors which are both subtle yet calming. There are new animations added as well to make the whole software experience that much more fluid.

Further, fonts and text throughout EMUI have been muted a bit and are now focused towards a minimalist approach with large negative spaces. Users would also be able to enjoy a system-wide dark mode including on Huawei stock apps which should improve overall battery, reduce eye strain and also, generally should look better.
