Samsung Galaxy S9 was launched with the latest flagship technical specifications and several updated features. Every year, Samsung tops up their flagship phone with greater and better new features than before. It is no doubt one of the most awaited and anticipated Android flagship of every year. This time, Samsung worked more on some unique software features, rather than changing the UI and other aspects of Android. Galaxy S9 is now on-par with the iPhone X for features like AR Emoji. And most importantly, the fingerprint scanner is now at the correct position — just below the camera module.
This year, Galaxy S9 stock apps are bundled as Samsung Experience 9.0 (formerly TouchWiz) with Android Oreo. We do not see any major changes to the UI, but almost all stock apps have been updated with more, new features as part of Samsung Experience 9.0. All the Galaxy S9 stock apps that come pre-installed in the phone have been ported for the Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy Note 8 and a number of other Android phones. From the new Galaxy S9 launcher to Samsung Browser to Gallery app, everything has been ported and is now available for download below.
