Huawei Honor View 20, with the new April 2019 update installed, would be capable of measuring objects with the camera. A built-in app called Measure App helps users to achieve accurate measurement results, the app allows users to measure length, width, and area accurately. There is more surprising news rather than just the Measure App.
Most Huawei devices are getting EMUI 9.1 updates and Honor View 20 is running Magic UI 2 which is based on Android 9 Pie. It’s not easy to differentiate between Magic UI 2 and EMUI because of the skin as both of them are relating to each other. Putting the difference aside, Magic UI 2 on top of Android 9 means a lot of additions, changes, and updates within Android 9.

This update was a limited edition update which was available for some units only in China. Huawei Honor View 20 is labeled as Honor V20 in China. To receive the OTA update your device model number should be either PCT_AL10 or PCT-TL10 and should be running the latest software version. If the conditions don’t match, then it won’t be possible to get an OTA update as the targeted devices were limited. We might be seeing a global Honor View 20 update within the coming days.
