April security patch update is now arriving for Moto G7, Verizon Galaxy Note 9 and also AT&T Galaxy Note 9. Similar to Galaxy S10, Samsung is really committed on keeping its flagship up to date with new security updates. Along with Samsung Galaxy Note 9, unlocked Moto G7 is also being updated with April 2019 patch which brings improvement to the performance and security.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is receiving April security update with build code: N960USQS1CSD1. The updates started rolling out yesterday so if you haven’t received the update yet, don’t be worried. You will hopefully have the update till the end of the week. To check if your device has gotten the update, do so manually by navigating to Settings -> System -> Advanced -> System updates.
AT&T and Verizon Galaxy Note 9 Update
Verizon & AT&T have started rolling out new builds for Samsung Note 9 today carrying latest April 2019 security patch and version code: N960USQS1CSD1. This specific firmware for Galaxy Note 9 is based on Android Pie. There aren’t any significant changes apart from new security definitions and improvements. Bug fixes might also be present so if you were previously facing any bugs, make sure to update to the new firmware.
Moto G7 Update
The unlocked version of Verizon’s Motorola G7 is also near to receiving security patch for April 2019 as the release notes are available. The OTA update isn’t just airborne due to which users aren’t able to update their Moto G7 quite yet. However, soon the update will be available along with the notification to download and install the update. It might take some time for the OTA update to fully arrive on all devices so just sit tight and wait for it.
