Complete step-by-step tutorial on how to install Pixel 2 Camera on OnePlus 5T.
- Your OnePlus 5T should be rooted.
- You should have Magisk Manager installed.
Step 1 – Download all of the following files:
- Google Pixel 2 Camera APK
- AR Core APK
- AR Stickers APK
- AR Sitckers Magisk Module
- Front Portrait Fix (Magisk v15.3)
- Front Portrait Fix (Magisk v16)
Step 2 – Start of by installing Google Pixel 2 Camera APK. The procedure is just like installing any other app, if you have issues, read: How to Install APK on your phone.
Step 3 – Open the installed app and set it up with the following settings:
Uncheck - > "camera.af.debug.show" Check - > "camera.faceboxes"
Step 5 – Now proceed to force stop the app. Do this by closing app from your recents.
Step 6 – Go to Magisk Manager and flash the Front Portrait Fix. We have listed two different modules for two different versions of Magisk so use the one that applies to your scenario.
Step 7 – Now we will go on to install AR Stickers. Start off by installing AR Core App downloaded from Step 1. Read: How to Install APK on your phone.
Step 8 – There is another APK which contains all the assets that are required, named AR Stickers. Install this as well.
Step 10 – Once you have installed both AR apps, you can head on to Magisk and install AR Stickers Module. Read: How to Install Magisk Modules with Magisk Manager.
Step 11 – If done correctly, you should now see AR Stickers in your Camera menu.
NOTE: If you get a black screen while opening Pixel 2 Camera, you need to flash the following Magisk Module: OP5_OOS_5.0_GCam_HDR_Fix-Magisk.zip
