Samsung Galaxy J7 and A3 (2016) are Getting Android Marshmallow


All smartphones manufacturers picking up the pace to release the Marshmallow update for its devices. As we know that Android N has been announced already and most of the devices are not yet upgraded to even Android Marshmallow. So it’s the right time for all manufacturers to release the Android Marshmallow for their devices as soon as possible.

Galaxy J7 and A3

Android Marshmallow is now coming to 2 more Samsung devices. One is, the very popular, Samsung Galaxy J7 and the other one is Samsung Galaxy A3. Galaxy J7 and A3 were both excellent phones and users loved them.

The J7 is already receiving the update over the air. The update is about 1 GB in size so make sure you are connected to a fast wifi before downloading it. The J7 was launched on Android Lollipop in June of last year, so it is getting the next version of Android about a year later.

The update brings many new features and performance improvements. Traditional Marshmallow goodies will also be included in the update. Doze is one of those goodies, which increases the battery life by double if the device is locked and is stationary. improved app permissions are also included which let you choose individual permissions for individual apps so that you can have more control of your apps.

The other device, the Galaxy A3, has not yet received the update but its manual has been updated. So we are sure that the Android Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy A3 is coming soon, maybe in a few weeks or earlier.
