Google Play is the biggest app store with more than 1.2 million apps available to download for Android devices. Apple’s App Store comes second when it comes to the number of apps available. Normally the Play Store shows you the size of the app when you want to download it and even when an update is available for an app, it again shows you the total size of the app.
But the store has now got a very usefull and long awaited feature. It will now show you the size of the update when a update will be available for an app. So you’ll have a perfect idea of how much of data will be downloaded when updateing an app.
This feature should have been there for a long time ago but because of some unknown reasons it was not there. But it is always better to be later than never. So it is still good that we got the update, no matter how late we got it.
Take the instagram app for example. Its total size is, lets suppose, 15 MB. When you download the app for the first time, it will show you 15 MB. But suppose an update comes later whose size is 5 MB. It will then start showing you 5 MB as the size.
