All smartphones manufacturers picking up the pace to release the Marshmallow update for its devices. As we know that Android N has been announced already and most of the devices are not yet upgraded to even Android Marshmallow. So it’s the right time for all manufacturers to release the AndroidMarshmallow for their devices as soon as possible.
OnePlus One Marshmallow update has hit the One devices today. This is the first Marshmallow for any OnePlus device. There are currently 3 devices made by the company. The OnePlus One, OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X. The OnePlus One is the oldest device among these 3 and it is amazing to see that the oldest device got the update first.
Cyanogen has started to seed CM 13 with build number ZNH0EAS26M for OnePlus One. The build is based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and brings many new features and bug fixes. Traditional Marshmallow goodies like Doze and improved app permissions are included in the update. Doze extends the battery life by twice when your phone is stationary and its screen is off.
The update is being rolled out worldwide but not everyone is guaranteed to receive it today. You may have to wait for some days for the update to hit your device.
Now we can expect that the OnePlus 2 will also receive the Marshmallow update very soon. It has already got the upaate in beta but we hope that the official version will hit the OnePlus 2 in a matter of days now.
