Last year in July, OnePlus unveiled there follow up to the company’s first phone and this year round, we will see the new OnePlus 3. OnePlus 2 from last year was a compromise and didn’t stack up very well in killing latest flagships as boasted by the brand. Now, OnePlus has yet another shot with improved R&D department to make its mark on the market. Recently, an online Antutu Benchmark was released with A3000 model number indicating the third OnePlus device. The specs include a latest Snapdragon 820 64-bit processor coupled with not 3 but 4GB of RAM and a 16MP main shooter. We saw the removal of NFC from OnePlus 2 which got a lot of criticism and hopefully, in this new phone, OnePlus will make amends.
The new OnePlus 3 is expected to launch around the same time — July 2016. This benchmark should be taken with a pinch of salt as the final product might change and also how easy it is nowadays to fake a benchmark. Anyhow, we absolutely love what we see at the moment and if OnePlus is able to pull this off in a price that is unbeatable, surely customers will start flowing in. If you want the detailed spec list gained from the benchmark, it is given right below.
