The new Galaxy flagship has just hit the stores and surprisingly, we have a supported release of CF-Auto-Root out already — that means, you can now root Galaxy S7! CF-Auto-Root is a simple and bare basic utility which you can flash through Odin in order to gain root access on your phones. The new Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. Thankfully, the new CF-Auto-Root will support this new standard and let you enjoy root.
You can download the latest CF-Auto-Root and flash it through Odin while your phone is in download mode. New restrictions being implemented cause users to first enable “OEM Unlock” from “Developer Settings” before they can make use of the package. We will have full guides on rooting the Exynos variants of Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge up shortly so do keep an eye out!

The new root utility is a simple Odin flash-able package. As per the developer, this utility has display issues so once the flash is done from the computer the phone will show S7 logo and will reboot couple of times. Leave it for five minutes and hopefully once it boots, you will be rooted!
