OnePlus 2 is a big hit again, just like OnePlus One. OnePlus 2 is the flagship killer of 2015 and people absolutely love it. The company is planning to launch a lite version of the phone, the OnePlus Mini. OnePlus Mini has been confirmed by the management of the company several times.
It will be a more affordable device with low specifications. Rumored specifications include a 5.0-inch display with a 1080p screen. There will be a Gorilla Glass protection on the top of the screen. The chipset will be, most probably, MediaTek’s Helio X10. The MediaTek’s Helio X10 comes with 2.2 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor.
Internal storage is 32 GB with a MicroSd card slot. RAM will be 2 GB. On the back, there is a Sony IMX258 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. A dual-tone LED flash is also there. The phone is said to have an NFC chip and an IR port. It will also come with IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.
The battery is rumored to be a 3,000 mAh capacity unit and a USB C port will also be there. The battery will support quick charging like most of the devices support today.
The price of the device will be around $250, which is amazing considering the specifications. The phone is said to be available around November or December. It is still unclear whether it will require an invitation to buy or not.
