2016 Honda Accord will be Honda’s First Car with Android Auto

As the time goes by, more and more companies are installing Android Auto in their cars to automate most of their in-car entertainment system. A number of car manufacturers have already installed Android Auto in their vehicles.

Honda has announced the 2016 Accord, company’s first car to come with Android Auto. Honda Accord is, in fact, one of the very first cars to come with both Android Auto and Apple Car Play. And it opens the doors for Android Auto as Honda will be using the Android Auto in its future car models as well.

Honda Motor Co. unveiled a refreshed Accord at the opening of its expanded Silicon Valley Lab. For the 2016 model year, the midsize sedan and coupe will add Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

There are two screens in the car. One screen will let you do anything that Android Auto can do. While the other screen is little far and it will display the directions and will keep track of the music playing in the car.

Android Auto has been designed keeping your safety in mind. It offers free, in-car voice guided navigation of Google Maps so you can make your trip easier. It automatically brings useful information to the front of the screen. It also lets you receive messages, make and receive calls while keeping your hands on the wheels. Moreover, it offers a number of apps like Spotify and Skype to make your journey beautiful and useful.
